Australia have made it two from two to start the Blind Twenty20 Cricket World Cup.

After knocking off Nepal in their first match, Australia have gone on to easily defeat South Africa.

The Proteas set what looked to be decent target, posting 174 from 19.3 overs, but the Australians needed just 15.4 overs to cchase that down.

Nkokoto Nhlanhla Mabela top scored for the South Africans with 40, while Marco Van der Linde chipped in with 24.

For the Australians, Ray Moxly was the chief destroyer, picking up three wickets with the ball and also grabbing a run out. Linsay Heaven, Mark Haskett and Vaughn Roles also claimed a wicket each.

In reply, Australia fell to 2/38, before Stephen Palmer and Heaven steered Australia to a winning 3/175.

Palmer blasted 10 fours on his way to 79 off 46 balls, while Heaven finished not out on 47.
