Why we exist
At Vision Australia, our mission is to support people who are blind or have low vision to live the life they choose.
We are a non-profit organisation, and the leading national provider of blindness and low vision services in Australia, supporting more than 27,500 people of all ages, life stages, and circumstances. Everything that we do is driven by the successful outcomes of our clients.
What we do
We work in partnership with people who are blind or have low vision, their families, supporters and other providers, to help them to achieve their goals.
We do this through 28 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; 30 clinics; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.
We offer a broad range of services to people in all stages of life, providing assistance, support and treatment, tailored to the client’s needs.
